About Dr. Preston

Valerie M. Preston, DDS, PA, provides comprehensive dental care at VP Dental in Raleigh, NC. She offers dental care for the whole family, including cosmetic procedures to brighten your smile.

Dr. Preston strives to create beautiful, naturally radiant smiles for the Triangle’s most select and highly demanding clientele. She completed her undergraduate degree in dental hygiene at the Ohio State University and her dental degree a the University of Maryland at Baltimore Dental School. Dr. Preston has over 20 years of experience working in general and cosmetic dentistry.

She’s a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the American Dental Association, and the North Carolina Dental Society. She is dedicated to helping people achieve better oral health in her community and across the globe. She has participated in numerous mission projects, including a dental mission trip to Mexico. She has also been on multiple missions to the Dominican Republic where she helped bring dental education and treatment to children and adults.

In her free time, Dr. Preston enjoys spending time with her husband, Mike, and her five children: Rachel, Victoria, Noah, Sophie, and Gabriel.
